High Resolution Airport Area Scenery
Normal flight simulator scenery has a resolution of approximately 4.7 meters/pixel.
That's OK at higher altitudes but leads to blurry ground textures when flying low
- e.g. in the traffic pattern.
My high resolution airport area sceneries have a resolution 1.2 meters/pixel.
This results in much more detail and the realistic experience of "being there".
I make the sceneries with my own custom made programs. They process high quality aerial images and combine them with high resolution elevation data to draw ground texture polygons. For the final compilation into FS scenery I'm using Manfred Moldenhauers great SCASM-tool and Microsoft's terrain-SDK.

By default the polygons cover all ground textures of the airport.
This leads to a homogenous image without the usually visible unnatural polygons for taxiways and aprons.
However while on the ground this is not desireable. Hence the polygons can be disabled by
dialing 117.0 into the NAV2 receiver.
My airport area sceneries don't contain any buildings or such. I spezialize on ground scenery.
However you can install any airport scenery on top of my airport area sceneries.
