!!! BRAND NEW: Canyonlands National Park, The Maze-South, Utah, Photo-Scenery (FSX too) !!!
This is the fourth package of the Arches/Canyonlands area. It covers the area southwest and including the confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers.
From there you can fly down Cataract Canyon which is famed for its premium whitewater rafting oportunities.
Or explore the Maze (the area west of the Green and north of the Colorado River) with it's labyrinth of canyons and colorful sandstone formations.
The scenery extends west to Hite (UT03) on Lake Powell. Brings the total Southern Utah coverage to 14.000 sq km in 4.7m/pix quality.
Works in FS9 and FSX.

!!! NEW: Mount Rainier National Park, Washington State !!!
This is the second title of my new ChiliView series which brings super sharp 1.2m/pix scenery for FS9 and FSX.
With 14,410 feet, Mount Rainier is the highest volcano in the Cascade Volcanic Arc,
which extends from British Columbia all the way down to Northern California.
The volcanoes formed due to a colliding movement of plates in the earth's crust.
In a process called subduction, the Juan de Fuca Plate moves eastward and under the North American Plate.
On its way down the subducted plate releases water into the mantle rock of the plate above.
The water lowers the melting point of the mantle rock which melts and rises due to its lower specific weight
like bubbles until it collects in magma chambers under the volcano.
Once a critical pressure is reached the obstacle of the volcanic cone is overcome, leading to a
sudden explosive eruption. The most recent volcanic eruptions at Mt. Rainier were about 150 years ago.
To explore the scenery, depart from Ranger Creek (21W) and head south or from Packwood (55S) and head north.
A 4.7m/pix normal resolution version (just 2 downloads but less sharp) for FS9 and FSX will be available soon.

Seperate versions for FS9 and FSX; both in super sharp 1.2 m/pix resolution!
Contains spectacular Glacier National Park just south of the Canadian border, up in Montana.
Although the mountains formed about 60 million years ago, the rugged landscape as we see it today is largely the effect of glaciers,
thousands of feet thick, that grinded and scraped along the valleys during the ice ages, just about 20.000 years ago.
Only the tops of the highest peaks were sticking out back then. The glaciers receeded since then, but there are many remnants in the higher regions of the park.
What remains are rugged peaks, magnificent clacial-carved cirques, hanging valleys and deep U-shaped valleys filled with long lakes.
Flying along the impressive peaks, horns and aretes gives you a sense, why the Native Americans called it the "Shining Mountains" or the "Backbone of the World".
To explore the scenery, depart from Babb, MT (49S) - a small turf strip - and head west.
Climb to 1.500 ft AGL and hold your breath. The scenery becomes truly spectacular, as you move west.
The 1.2m/pix scenery is hosted on a different provider (megaupload.com) because it consists of multiple packages.
I hope everything works fine with them. On the first page after leaving my site enter the displayed code and hit the orange download-button.
On the second page you'll have to wait for 45 seconds before you can hit the "Free download button".
A 4.7m/pix normal resolution version (just 3 downloads but less sharp) for FS9 and FSX is available here.
